Firefox sound question.

Hi! :-) I'm using Firefox from repositories without any problem. Just out of curiosity, I downloaded from Mozilla site, the latest version I unpacked and ran it. Everything seems to work fine, except sound. It seems to be unable, to play any kind of sound. Does anyone know anything related? TIA! G.

Kmail connections

Hi everyone. I'm not too happy that neither Debian nor the Ubuntuzilla repository have made Thunderbird 91 (now on 91.0.3) available after almost a month since 91.0 was released. I obviously do not know what could be holding it up. Does TDE's KMail offer persistent/cached (?) connections like Thunderbird does - with the app open/minimized if an e-mail comes in (IMAP accounts), it's automatically retrieved? Hi! :-) Does someone know about the bug tracker on gitea: Is it possible to have mail notifications? I have activated the related options, but no mail notifications. Only if you login to gitea, it informs you of any messages you have. This way, some developer may request from you additional information, but you'll never know (unless you login to gitea). G.

Change "Create New" file templates

Good night. I have been curious about how to change the "Create New" file templates. Other DE uses files found at ~/Templates/ but it is not the case of KDE 3.5 or TDE. About not so removable removable media

Hello all, In Configure Desktop - Behaviour, one can define what objects appear on the desktop. There is one catch however: More machines today use sd or micro-sd cards as mass storage (Raspi is an example, but my notebooks also do). If I choose to show mounted removable media, I get my fstab mounted partitions on the desktop, and if I don't want these, I can't get the dynamicaly mounted USB stick to show. I doubt there is a way to make a difference between an fstab mounted "removable media" and a dynamicaly mounted one? Thierry

Settings missing in Konqueror

Hi, I managed to compile tdebase with the described dependencies. I get konqueror working but I am missing two items. 1st I see in Settings -> Configure Konqueror noting: [image: image.png] 2nd when I edit a file and I click here on "Remember" konqueror does not remember: [image: image.png] Any ideas what is missing? Hmmm. My reply to Nik explaining why he was blocked was blocked. I'm sending this to the list and hoping Slávek will eventually unblock them both. Apparently SORBS just now decided to list my mail server because of a single spam sent on the 7th of May. Unfortunately my mail logs don't go back that far to see what they're complaining about or why they just listed it today instead of back in May. Hopefully Slávek can trim his RBL tests down to just a few of the more reliable services. --Mike
