Hi Trinity users,
I just made a simple but really cute theme for the MediaControl Kicker applet. It is based on the control icons of Amarok2.
You can found it here: http://users.klvb-larve.org/nico/contrib/kde-applets/mediacontrol/themes/med...
I hope Mediacontrol users will enjoy it! Nicolas.
Good job!
Would you be willing to add it to the Community Downloads Wiki page here: http://trinity.pearsoncomputing.net/wiki/bin/view/Community/Downloads
Sign up for an account on the Wiki and let me know your username; I will then grant you write access to that page (all new users are read-only as an anti-spam measure; spammers love to destroy Wikis)
Thanks!

Thank you!
Sure I will do it! I just wonder if I need to put it under the terms of a specific licence (didn't yet)?
Yes, definitely. Otherwise all sorts of legal issues crop up, and you could easily lose all rights (including attribution) to the source code.
I would be GPLv2 but I have to check upstream (amarok2) license before...
GPLv2 with v3 extension usually works for any Trinity addons. BSD and MIT also work.
Nicolas.
PS: I was adding it to kde-look.org when I received you mail! (are you watching my computer?! ;-) )
Nope. Interesting coincidence though!
Tim
What I understand, it's just a matter of being able to supply source with changes for anyone who asks, if asked you can burn it to a cd/dvd and charge a service charge if you want, most put it on-line for easy download though. Here's an easy to understand GPL Compliance FAQ http://www.mepis.org/gpl-compliance-faq www.mepis.org/gpl-compliance-faq
