I've been running Ubuntu 10.04/Trinity -- all fat, dumb, and happy. Especially happy.
Now, while poking around at http://www.trinitydesktop.org/ I see I should be/could be using Trinity v3.5.13. I'm not. I'm running Trinty 3.5.11. sigh...
My apt sources: : |$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kde3-maintainers.list |# KDE3 repositories | |deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kde3-maintainers/ppa/ubuntu lucid main |deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/kde3-maintainers/ppa/ubuntu lucid main
The http://www.trinitydesktop.org/ apt sources list for 10.04/Lucid contains:
deb http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-v3.5.13/ubuntu lucid main deb-src http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-v3.5.13/ubuntu lucid main deb http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-builddeps-v3.5.13... lucid main deb-src http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-builddeps-v3.5.13... lucid main
So , is it enough to change my /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kde3-maintainers.list file to the trinity-v3.5.13 sources and apt-get update/upgrade? Or, will I snafu my nicely running system? Are there any gotchas?
Or, do I have to upgrade through trinity-v3.5.12 first -- somehow?
Thanks in advance, Jonesy
