Hey everyone,
I was installing Trinity on a new laptop the other day and realized "Wow, I don't enjoy the process of installing an OS and DE separately". So I decided to take it upon myself and create a live-build of Debian with my favorite software included. So far the website is a work in progress, but the Iatest built ISO is fully functional so far.
It is a mostly stock Debian install with Trinity and a few configuration changes for a fully working system out of the box.
You can download it at: https://DildOS.wiki
DildOS stands for "Damn I Love Debian Operating System"
Hi, I see you are using Debian Live tools. Can you publish the scripts?
I'm working on similar projects (see [1] and [2]) but I'm moving to kiwi-ng [3] for building images.
Regards Massi

Hi there!
As it stands right now, I am not complete my config files. When my TODO list shrinks, Ill find a git to host it on! However if you set up a github repo with a livebuild config, I will be glad to support and/or contribute depending on what youre trying to do! Feel free to reach out
It should include Plymouth by default for boot screens.
Also, what version of Debian does it follow?

Since this is something built for me, to also be used by others if useful, more of a personal project type of thing. I think it's only appropriate to have a little humor in the project too. Naming it was the most fun part, some people don't notice at all, and some immediately do.
Its just suprising people actually contributed art and CSS to the project lol

It would have been fun, if you have used another word - the one you picked is too profane for my taste.

Damn, I Love Debian. Fitting name, no? But seriously, with a name like the one I chose, I don't expect everyone/anyone at all to use it. Again, built for me, others to use.
On the otherhand, I have spent an unfortunate amount of time with trial and error understanding live-build, and going through old and outdated documentation getting a ISO built. Alot of things that were built with live build have been set and forget, I'm hoping by putting my configuration and docs out. Others can do the same. Or just remove my branding ;)
I would like to say however, I have got people to test my iso and experience TDE, that otherwise would never have. That was another goal, and I feel I have also accomplished that
Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think I have ever has plymouth installed, I never thought of that to be honest.
Also, it follows the latest stable release of Debian.

Because TDE is working so stable and we do not spend any time in debugging, we can take care of such little nice things like plymouth. I also use it and customize it, so I join the request. Please also add bluetooth and wireless if not done so already.

We are a bit cynical today, aren't we?

Wireless is done, tdebluez isn't only because I was under the impression it was included in tdebase. No worries, I'll have a small gitea to host the livebuild configs up later, I'll make another ISO soon.

Hi Jacob,
I set up on your TGW account so you could create your git repositories. So you can use TGW to host your scripts and configuration.
