Hi before logging a bug I would consult the community on following.
In the console I type: kfmclient exec settings:/ or kfmclient openURL settings:/ which opens the settings in konqueror, but then I open "Peripherals" or whatever is called in English and press Mouse. I get
Failed to add a plugin to the panel No running instance of xfce4-panel was found
WTH? Any idea? Anyone else can reproduce this?
I've never used xfce
thanks
regards

I was not aware that you can open the settings dialog that way. I just tested and it works correctly for me (R14.0.2)
Can you do it in Trinity Control Center or do you have the same problem?

Hi and thanks for the reply

Yes, I can do it in the control center. Only the konqueror part is not working.
I think this is totally messed up on my side. I just tested in fresh installed vm with TDE and it works great ... but I do not see the things there, the way they look on my desktop.
Any idea how I can restore that?
thanks again

Nope. Here it does open a window for peripherals.
openSuSE 13.1 / Trinity R14.0.0
