So there's that app I always want to start on specific virtual desktop. It doesn't offer any command line parameters to do so, is there a way to make TDE always put windows belonging to a specific executable on specific desktop?

You can set twin rules for a specific application - there you can set on which desktop it should be located, where it should be located, etc. See Advanced in the window menu.

Thanks, discovered that on my own before seeing this post, just wasn't sure it worked until I've started the system today. It's pretty well-hidden though. IMO you should be able to go to the twin rules window via the right-click menu of the title bar of any window. Oh damn, you actually can. Nevermind, I'm dumb.
