in trying to recover from this disaster, i hope to find what was once my kmenu in hope of restoring it. but i have no idea of where it is or what it looks like. anyone know?

I believe that's it.

Of course I know. All you are looking for is contained in the last backup you made before the disaster happened. Just click on 'restore'. Rgds Peter.
