I've got a question:
Why is it when you reboot Q4OS / TDE and log back in,
Why doesn't TDE connect to the internet automatically, like it did in MATE or like any other DE would?

Does Q4OS use NetworkManager? If yes then at least one of the connections needs to be configured to connect automatically.

I am not sure. I've been using Q4OS for less than a week.

Personally, I prefer to be online whether or not I'm in a DE. I use ifupdown and wpasupplicant. There are several alternatives.

It must be Q4OS, not TDE, because it does not happen with Debian and MX.
Another thing I remember from trying Q4OS: they did *not* install the full TDE, so maybe something is missing that would be required to get automatic connection.
But TDE can do it!
