Please note that contrary to TheRegister there is a RISC-V repository and an installer. ATM for i386 you'll have to use an old iso or debootstrap. https://pkgmaster.devuan.org/devuan/dists/excalibur/main/

Next release will be "freia" - it's been in the repos for almost 2 months now.
