HI Alessandro
Try removing all the temp files. On both the host and the guest.
Reboot and try again.
It's just a guess based on a previous experience with TDE.
Good luck lad,
Kate
Hi Kate,
I tried as you suggested with no success, but I believe I found out the issue.
Before login in TDM, I selected "Safe Session" and tried login which failed (as almost expected); so I selected "TDE" session again and it worked (even if I do not why).
Anyway, thanks for the help.
Cheers,
Alessandro

Hi.
Check perms. From the root command line.
chown -R user:user /home/user
Good luck,
Kate
Hi,
that tip is always worth and I had already tried that but thanks for remind ;)

Alessandro
Hi all,
I've installed TDE 14.0.3 on CentOS 6.7 64bit (KVM guest VM) but cannot login on the system.
I looked into /var/log/tdm.log file for errors:

Hi,
I'm trying to compile kdebindings, so I can start programming in python.
First of all, not having a configure or CMakeList.txt file is confusing,
and I really don't know how to compile it.
But besides, python/README says:
----
PyQt may be downloaded from this URL:
http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/software/pyqt/download3
----
That URL no longer exists. They are now here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pyqt/files/
So, Should I install pyqt3, pykde3 and sip from there?
Cheers,
-- Diego.
Hi,
I'm replacing my old KDE4 desktop with the lastest release of Trinity.Does
anybody knows an alternative to kdeconnect, to sync files, notifications,
etc. with tablets and smartphones? I wouldn't like to reinstall KDE4 for it.
Thanks!!

A new Exe GNU/linux Live ISO (669MB) with installer is posted here:
http://www.exegnulinux.net/downloads/jessie/
It is a 64-bit Devuan base with a (minimal but functional) TDE R14, up
to date with both at 20160413.
This ISO has language support for US and UK English and Spanish. UEFI
support is included but not yet properly tested, any help appreciated.
Thanks to the TDE team for R14 and Devuan for the system base.

Greetings;
How can I disable kmails penchant for interpreting a typu as a "turn on
the )*&$@Y^ html"?
I presume its a hotkey I am accidentally hitting on this short spaced
K-360 keyboard. I want it on ONLY if I use the mouse pulldown and
checkbox in the kmail editor, and ONLY that.
Its a PIMA, I note that its been turned on somehow, and I have to use the
puldown and uncheck the ^$&# box to put me back in plain text about
every 3rd msg I send. Aggravating & makes me use bad language.
Cheers, Gene Heskett

Greetings postmaster;
I have finally looked at the headers to see why mailfilters duplicate
deletion function wasn't working.
I turns out that I apparently have 2 active subscriptions, one to a
wdtv.com server address, and one to a shentel.net address. I did
unsubscribe, or at least went thru the motions prior to subscribing the
shentel.net address, but I am still getting 2 copies of everything, one
from each server.
So, can the gheskett(a)wdtv.com address be purged from the subscription
list please? The shentel.net server is working very well. I'll do
another unsub just for grins though.
Cheers, Gene Heskett
