Problems installing kdelibs-data kdelibs4c2a: not solved

Please remove kdelibs-data, and note which programs will be removed with it. Then try reinstalling those programs, but with a -kde3 suffix appended. For example, kolourpaint becomes kolourpaint-kde3. Broken installation and sudo

Why does installing Trinity require removing 'sudo'? The Trinity packages cannot be installed because it requires removing 'sudo'. The only issue is that the bookshelf manager seems to be broken (it cannot download new Sword modules). I may backport it to Lucid once the bookshelf manager is repaired. I didn't find this mentioned previously: Is there a Bibletime package for Trinity Lucid? If not, could someone outline how to build it? I see it's available in Lenny, so I know the source is there. support for the Suse Linux-distribution?

Hello, I would like to (roughly) know whether there are plans for supporting other Linux distributions than Ubuntu? I for example use Suse. It would be great if the KDE 3.5 would be available at some time as (just!) an alternative desktop in the standard distributions. Are there plans/hopes regarding this? I have experience in installing mathematical software, but I would guess that KDE can't just be installed locally, and there is quite a risk that it might destroy your working system, or? So I would think that for me, as a user, for using KDE 3.5 it has to come in some form supported by standard distributions. Thanks for your time! Oliver

Upgrade from kubuntu-kde3.5 karmic to 10.0.4 LTS

Hello, I am running kubuntu-kde3.5 karmic, downloaded from the pearson site. I would like to upgrade using the Update Manager to the latest release but when I try to do this, it fails with a message about kde3 being in a blacklist. Please can you tell me how to do such an upgrade? Kind regards, Peter Cardoe.
