I just upgraded trinity to 3.5.12-0debian7+r1180139 on my debian testing
system.
It broke the knemo icons.
Any idea about what happened ?

Has anyone on the list attempted (or succeeded ) compiling Trinity for
Mandriva?
I've looked at the notes for Slackware, but I don't think I'm savvy enough
to make the conversion :-)
Any hints, clues or pointers would be greatly appreciated

Hello, all. I've just upgraded my Debian Lenny to the newly released
3.5.12. All seems to have gone well except that my Iceweasel file
dialogs have reverted to the Gnome file dialog. Before upgrading, it
was very nicely using the KDE style file dialogs. Both
debian-kgtk-trinity and are installed. What should I check next? Thanks

Hi all,
when I try to mount a just inserted usb key, either right clicking on it
on the desktop or using the storage media applet, I get an
kio_media_mounthelper error message :
"The option 'locale=' is not allowed for uid=1000"
Any solution ?

Hi everyone,
I just did a full trinity install on debian testing a few days ago.
Things ran smoothly, no problem. Aptitude said that 2 packages had to be
replaced by the trinity ones, I said yes and then the install process
succeeded. It's good to be back on kde3/trinity, definitely the most
functional desktop environment to me. Nice job, Tim, thanks !
Now the few problems I met running it (trinity 3.5.12-0debian7+r1179711)
- many strings keeps on being in english, while they where translated in
french in kde 3.5.10. For example in kcontrol, all the choices on the
left (appearance and themes, desktop, etc.) are in english. Same with
the choices on the left in konqueror configuration dialog, or with all
the items of the main KDE menu.
- the new search field in the main menu is a nice feature but it is very
slow (ten seconds response time)
- when choosing kickoff menu style, the computer part is all messed up :
only the first item is correct, the other ones have strange description
text and clicking on them produces a konqueror error (I can send you a
screenshot, Tim, if it can be helpful).
Anyway, as I said, i am happy to be home, thanks again !
