Hi.
I'm using Quark OS 20.04 (based on Kubuntu 20.04), and it's working very well.
Quark OS comes with KDE Plasma by default, but it is possible to install Trinity after installation and use both environments.
I usually use networked, Postscript printers (mostly second hand professionnal
HP laserjets).
I recently decided to bring back into service an Epson ET-2550 inkjet that had
been purchased for photo printing and actually was just gathering dust.
I've installed it on USB with Cups - no problem, test-page printing, the
printer appears in Libre-Office (and lots of other programs).
Now the thing I don't understand: I can't see the printer from kpdf!
It's there in kedit, it's there in kate... It does not appear in kpdf.
The laserprinters do show in kpdf.
It's not really important - I won't be using this printer really. But I just
can't fin a logical explanation.

Hello,
When I modify a remote PHP file on my server,
it is modified directly on the server.
If the file is a TXT, JSP file, no, it is dowloaded on my computer,
under a tmp folder, and I have to upload it to the server.
Why ?
I saw "files associations" in the TDE menu, but not finded a solution.
Thanks, cheers.

Hello,
The last time I have upgraded my Debian-Bullseye, was a week ago.
Today, an apt update gives :
"97 packages can be upgraded" and essentially tde-trinity packages.
Is it normal to have non stop a necessity of trinity upgrade.
Each month, maybe ok, but not every week even more.
Thanks, cheers,
André
I think I looked everywhere there is to look. Lock session doesn't seem to be
mentioned anywhere. It simply shows up in the main menu, where it is easily
clicked unintentionally as mouse pointer moves in the process of LMB clicking.

Moin,
a friend asked me for some (older) notebooks for people who fled from ukraine.
So my point is: i would install ubuntu with tde if there is support for
ukrainian language.
Greetings
