I'm building amarok 3.5.13. I receive this message: Looking for linux/inotify.h - not found The header file does exist at /usr/include/linux.inotify.h. Any ideas for the message? Darrell

Minor build error with kdesdk

Can I stop entry boxes from automatically clearing?

Hi All, I was wondering if I can stop entry boxes ( like the URL bar in konqueror to not automatically clear when I hit CTRL+L ). This also happens in File Dialogs. The default for browsers and GTK+ as well as Mac, is to Highlight the bars contents, not delete it. Surely there is an option somewhere? Calvin

Missing dnotify option?

With automake, in kdelibs, there is a configure option --enable-dnotify. Does an equivalent exist in the cmake options? If not, could this be part of the problem with several bug reports about konqueror not updating file changes? Darrell

PyKDE3 build fails - Missing kdeversion.h

Hi All, As per the wiki (http://trinitydesktop.org/wiki/bin/view/Developers/HowToBuild), it seems that python-kde3 source has been removed from Trinity. I've therefore built SIP and PyQt from upstream but PyKDE (3.16.7) fails, complaining it can't find kdeversion.h, which doesn't exist on my system (building from git). Am I doing something stupid? Apologies if this is a stupid question. Cheers, Mike.

Trinity on Ubuntu and mirror problems

Hello! I would like to try out the Trinity project, since I really would like to deploy KDevelop3 on Ubuntu (11.10), (this was the last version of KDevelop really able to handle Python) I tried today to follow the installation guide but I am stuck with the mirror issue some other users already reported. Are there any news on the status of the mirror(s)? (And actually, is the original server not public available)? Best regards and keep up the great work! kdm theme not fount

every time I start may Trinity system kdm complains about not finding these theme: /usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/debian-moreblue what do I have to install to get this?

Wiki Changes for Building Trinity

Within the past couple of days I proposed some updates to the wiki for building Trinity. I received no objections. In addition to those changes, I propose removing the information about building from SVN and replace that section with a blurb and link to the GIT wiki page (http://www.trinitydesktop.org/wiki/bin/view/Developers/GIT). Not to mention that much of the wiki page needs updating to reflect the efforts of the renaming project. The GIT repository is now open to the public and the wiki needs updating pronto. :) Any objections? Darrell

Donations

Currently the only information I find at the Trinity web site about donating funds to the Trinity Project is to use Paypal. I want to donate but can't because I don't have a Paypal account and I have no intentions of creating an account. Buying a Visa gift card is easy enough but using that card to support Trinity is not --- I find no information about using Paypal anonymously. I probably could find somebody who has a Paypal account to act as intermediary to make the donation for me, but that is cumbersome. Are there other options to financially support Trinity? Darrell
