kcontrol blank

I've finally managed to produce some working Trinity Mandriva packages (available from http://www.autotrain.org/mdv-kde/mdv2010.2.html). However, i've got a problem with kcontrol, it starts up fine, but it doesn't load any configuration options, so the main config panels are blank. This could be being caused by one of the mandriva patches, rather than being a bug in the Trinity core, but i'd appreciate some suggestions as to what I should be looking for. Other 'lesser' configuation screens, eg "Configure Desktop" and "Configure Panel" seem to work fine. Trinity and Flash (again)

Hi, I'm running Trinity 3.5.12 which I've patched with the Flash 10 patch ( http://www.trinitydesktop.org/patches/r1224648.diff ). This works fine with Flash 10.2, but doesn't seem to work with 10.3 or with the new Flash 11 beta. Symptoms with both are that it segfaults somewhere in the Flash player. I can provide backtraces if helpful. My base O/S is Debian Squeeze, i386 userland and flash plugin running on an amd64 kernel. To help me narrow the problem down, is anyone else experiencing this problem with the newer Flash updates, please ? Cannot install adept-updater-trinity

Hi, if I try $>sudo apt-get install adept-updater-trinity I get the following: Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Site offline?

I upgraded my daughter's desktop to squeeze, and the last step was to install Trinity. network is down when hibernating

Hello This does not seem to be a trinity bug, since it also happened when I used KDE4. I have a wired connection successfully configured with the, I presume, knetworkmanger, but after reboot my IP is lost, I have to disable and enable the network, with the unchcanged configuration values. That never happened with 8.04 or 6.04. Does anybody know about it? thanks Uwe Brauer

Problems accessing download mirrors for latest stable release of Trinity desktop

Good day to all, Today I've been trying to download latest stable release of Trinity desktop from respective web site and got stuck not able to reach the following page: http://ppa2.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/redirect.php?file=releases/3.5.… Looks like that there's some king of a problem with the redirecting server and it results in Trinity 3.5.12 release sources being de-facto non-available for download. icedove/iceweasel gui wrong font size & display switching

Hi, I have some annoying gui font sizes problems with icedove 3.0 (i.e. thunderbird) and iceweasel 4.0 (i.e. firefox) under Trinity on Debian Squeeze. I use a laptop (1280×800) with a docking station and an external 19" screen (1280*1024). When I plug the laptop on its docking station and change display settings to use the 19" screen, everything resizes correctly (the desktop, trinity apps, etc.) except iceweasel and icedove that begin to use very huge fonts sizes in gui display (menus, toolbars, etc.). When I set display back to the laptop screen, the issue is still there. Recently, I upgraded to iceweasel 4.0 and I remember that I didn't have this issue with iceweasel 3.5.x. So I guess this might be linked to a wrong integration of gtk (libgtk2.0-0, versions above 2.10) into Trinity. Are there too many new features in gtk that are not well handled by gtk-qt-engine-trinity?
