Thumbsup for TDE on devuan daedalus ... and new GTK3 nightmares

Hi all! I just did an upgrade from devuan chimaera to daedalus. Almost everything worked as I expeced, especially TDE runs flawless - big thumbsup! GTK3 is a PITA - just as expected: - GTK_CSD=0 not always works, some applications need extra caretaking (zim, ...). - Subpixel hinting for font rendering is fixed to full hinting, which traditionally gives horrible results. Both .config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini and .gtkrc-2.0 have gtk-xft-hintstyle="hintslight", but no use. So, apart from GTK this upgrade works like a charm :) Does anybody know how to fix subpixelhinting for GTK3? I can't logoff or shutdown in TDE using lightdm in Linux Mint

Guys, I can't logoff or shutdown in TDE using lightdm. I don't want to use TDM cuz I need to upgrade my Linux Mint. In TDS I use konsole and type shutdown -h now to shutdown my computer in TDE.

While I don't understand why lightdm should be necessary to update Mint (is Ubuntu based, no?), you can also install both lightdm and tdm and switch from one to the other. If is is, please, a link to the correct apt tde.list file please. kde & kmail-5.15 is buggier than a 10 day old road kill in August. And there is little help available on the kdepim mailing list. No one seems to know how its really supposed to work. So far its imported all my mails from the stretch version, then thrown them away, and I can't keep a list of filter rules intact more than 48 hours.
