Hello all This is an odd thing I thought maybe someone can help with? I installed Ku 11.10 and the TDE. I have no issues with TDE but one and honestly I am not even SURE its TDE fault. Firefox crashes EVERY time I try to save anything. Whether its a file download or a picture.. its goes boom. It did this sometimes when I ran TDE x.x..12 in ubuntu 10.10 but not that often. Now its all the time. Has anyone encountered this issue as well?It is probably an issue related to our kgtk-wrapper OR the qt-gtk-engine. I have had similar issues before.
Try removing the kgtk package. It is: kgtk-qt3-trinity. that will remove the trinity dialogs for gtk apps. You won't have native dialog, but you won't crash.
If you could get a backtrace from the kcrash handler, we would be able to debug the problem and get it resolved for R14.

I would be happy send you a log entry.. i just dont know where its at so if you could tell me, I will grab it. Also I will try un-installing the kgtk package first.
