I just uploaded my "Darkness" iso, march 2025 version. As usual bleeding edge Devuan + TDE :) A note on Installation: Don't forget installing the bootloader.
What do you get: - Devuan Testing - TDE 14.2.0 (dev branch) - Openscad - Firefox v135 - Kernel 6.12.17 - most firmware blobs - dark theme
I have removed [i]Zim Desktop Wiki[i] due to the vast number of dependencies it pulls in.
UID / PWD: user / user root / toor
ISO: https://samhain.at/devuan_tde/darkness-20250302.iso SHA256: https://samhain.at/devuan_tde/darkness-20250302.iso.sha256
Default language is austrian german. Russian and englisch language packs are installed, too.

Hi Nik, thanks a lot! Do you have an updated screenshot of it? We would like to use it for a Mastodon post. As last time, the image has been uploaded on the TDE server to mitigate bandwidth issues. Cheers Michele

Hi Nik, thanks a lot! Do you have an updated screenshot of it? We would like to use it for a Mastodon post. As last time, the image has been uploaded on the TDE server to mitigate bandwidth issues. Cheers Michele

Here comes the screenshot ... did totally forget about it :) IMO it would still be a good idea to use TDE server as a mirror. I got > 100GB for the new image just after 4 hours yesterday.
BTW, would it be ok to add some "dark" wallpapers to the TDE wallpapers? I still did not have enough time to work my way through the code to generate "dark" themes the correct way. Probably the aproach with custum packages and configs in /etc/trinity is acceptble. What I do not like about that is that the presets are exclusive and you cannot have multiple appearences to choose from.

Thanks for the screenshot, Nik. We have already uploaded the ISO to the TDE servers, so the Mastodon post will refer to that location.

You can add both - the local copy and the site link :) IMO my ISP has enough bandwith for my site (and I pay for it), so I do not want to needlessly burden the TDE website. The ISOs produce ~ 100GB/day at the moment.

Hi Nik, done, live CD page updated and Mastodon toot sent out. Added link to both locations, together with the announcement on the Devuan page. I have assumed the user/pw are the same as previous releases, but I suggest you mentioned those in the Devuan announcement because new users may not know them.
