Hello, Now running TDE under Devuan ascii. SSD has lots of empty space in which I installed FreeBSD 12 from USB. But it didn't install the boot selection menu. Entered the Live Disk command line and tried using boot0cfg, which created a minimal menu - to boot I still have to keep the USB plugged in. At startup I need to find a way to run FreeBSD on the SSD to be able to install TDE, etc. Any ideas? Robert

Slax with Trinity updated to 9.9

kdesktop failing on resolution change

Every time I run an app that changes the resolution (mostly games but other apps too) all the icons on my desktop disappear and I have two scripts I run to fix it. #!/bin/bash killall -9 kdesktop #!/bin/bash kdesktop Not sure why this is happening it does seem to be related to TDE. I don't know if it's the application or a fault in the x server. I have seem the same thing happen in MS and apple too. Kate

Config file icons desktop

Hello, I like to put my icons in a certain order on the desktop. Sometimes, by mistake, I click on the bad line in the menu icons, and I have to spend long time to put them as before. Is there a config file which keeps icons information, that I can make a copy ? If disaster, so it is enough to change his name, with the actual. Thanks and regards, André

2 questions

Greetings all; 1st Q is "deb line to install the whole TDE to stretch"? 2nd is, is there any way to insert an image so that is seen by the receiver with the next line of text after being a continuation of the message, like a caption for that image? The last time I tried inserting an image at the cursor I got about 6 black boxes that had nothing in the echo from a list that does take inline images from winderz machines. Thanks.
