Which brings up the question that came to my mind earlier today when I saw the wallpaper: should we adopt it as the new official TDE mascot? Back in 2021 I didn't really fancy the name, but somehow I don't mind if we name it Tristian...

I liked the name Tristian from the very beginning. When Philip first designed the graphic, I thought it needed "a little tweaking", and this update from Sebastião has done exactly that.
I like dragons and I'm not saying we have to replace them everywhere. I also like polar bears. And the polar bear gives us the opportunity to have a mascot, which allows us to have our own face, which prevents confusion with the dragons in KDE.
