The TDE mailing list manager was struggling for a while but it is working normally now. I do not know the cause.

I'm afraid to nuke my system to install TDE, because I tried installing openSuse in a VM, and when running the commands to install TDE, they all errored out.

I'm pretty sure a lot more people use TDE in Debian and derivatives than in OpenSuse. You have stated that you have Debian 13. I suspect if you try installing TDE alongside Plasma 6 in your Debian 13 that you would have success, or if you run into problems you would have more people here able to assist you.
