Lunduke Journal is a sensationalist, but the things he says are not entirely without merit. Yes you will find some FUD but you will also find some examples of genuine reporting, as with any journalist it's up to the reader/viewer to analyze the claims and decide for themselves. KDE, like it or not, is developed by people with ulterior corporate interests.
I have no reason to believe at this time that Trinity is infected by external politics. If you must know, I moved away from KDE because they were neglecting long-standing complaints for X users. I cannot speak for the Trinity maintainers but they appear to have their priorities straight.

Anonymous OP offers a lot of misinformation and FUD.
Everyone here finds TDE preferable to KDE. In my case a *lot* better.
I don't care about your politics (but I do care about crimes commited by politicians). I don't care about your background, race, or gender.
I do hope we don't waste a lot of time on anonymous posters or attempts to "contribute" code anonymously.

A lot of GNU/linux software is discriminating primarily against conservatives and people on the political right, this unfortunately includes KDE Plasma:

A lot of people are looking to migrate away from KDE Plasma because of this along with them pushing a wayland-only session. Trinity is an amazing option that has nearly all the same features Plasma has with a much lighter codebase and also works with Devuan and Xlibre.
So it might be a weird question but in the year 2026 I have to ask: Does Trinity accept everyone (users/contributers) regardless of background/politics/race/gender, etc so long as they write quality code and focus on making the project as great as it can be?
P.S I don't mind what the politics are of those who work on Trinity, I don't need to know at all.
